How long have you been in business?
We opend in August of 2004.
What is your primary product or service?
We specialize in Baseball and Softball equipment, practice gear & uniforms for individual players, teams, high schools and colleges. We have a team room located in our store with sample uniform cloth, hats, etc.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was a Business Planning and Strategy Manager for Hewlett Packard but always had a desire to own my own business. I coached my daughter since she was 4 and when she turned 8 we started playing tournament ball and was introduced to a whole new line of products but I found the need for a store that had superior customer service and was on the north side of Houston and that is what lead us to this business. I continued to coach my daughter until she left to play college ball at Stepthen F. Austin University. I am still coaching a local college exposure team (Sudden Impact 16U) and my daughter is now an Assitant Coach for our team.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We differentiate ourselves from the big box stores like Academy and Sports Authority by carrying a higher line of products but the big thing that seperates us from the box store and other similiar specialty stores is that I expect my employees to be exports on our product lines and they can assist a customer with fitting the products right whether it is a bat, glove, catching gear, etc. in doing this we give the best customer service possible and our customers are able to make educated decisions on what they want to purchase.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have the one location but we have expanded our store twice in our first 8 years and we are constantly looking at growth opportunities whether it is different product lines or services that we can provide our customers or expansion opportunities.

From Spring you will head North on 45 and take the Robinson Road exit (Exit 76A), stay on the feeder road and we are about a mile or so up on the right hand side. From Conroe take the Rayford Sawdust exit and do a u-turn under the freeway, head north on the feeder road and we are a mile or so up on the right hand side.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, check and credit cards (Visa, M/C, American Express & Discover)
Which areas do you service?
We service the entire Houston and surrounding areas as well as High Schools and Colleges all over the state and Louisiana.
What are your hours of operation?
Mon. - Fri. 10:00 - 7:00 Saturday: 9:00 - 6:00 Sunday: 12:00 - 5:00
